Pleasant Hills is a compact borough of about 8,500 people (2020 census) along Route 51, between Baldwin, West Mifflin and Jefferson Hills. It’s mostly post-war single-family homes, the kind with a basement, a garage and decades of stored stuff.
Pleasant Hills is about 13 miles from our Canonsburg base and inside our 15-mile service area. JUNKED. shows up, carries it out, loads the truck and sweeps up.
Here’s how a job in Pleasant Hills works: call or text (412) 905-9453 or send the request form, ideally with a few photos. We give you a free quote, show up in the window we agreed on, and do all the carrying and loading. We donate and recycle what we can, haul away the rest, and sweep up before we leave. JUNKED. is fully insured and licensed.
Pleasant Hills was incorporated in 1947, when much of the South Hills was filling in with new homes for growing families. It has only three borders: Baldwin to the northwest, West Mifflin to the northeast and Jefferson Hills to the southeast. Bear’s Retreat, a Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation historic landmark, is here.
Many of those first-owner homes are now being downsized or sold, so we expect requests for basement and garage cleanouts, old furniture and appliances, and full estate cleanouts.
Estate Cleanouts: Careful, patient help clearing a loved one’s home.
Basement Cleanouts: Decades of stored boxes and furniture brought up and out.
Garage Cleanouts: Clear the bays so the car fits again.
Furniture Removal: Couches, dressers, beds and recliners carried out.
Appliance Removal: Washers, dryers, stoves and fridges hauled away.
Yard Waste Removal: Brush, branches, leaves and storm debris.
