South Park Township covers about 9 square miles at the southern end of Allegheny County, and roughly a third of it is the county park the township is named for. The rest is neighborhoods, and JUNKED. works in all of them: Library, Broughton, Curry, Piney Fork, Bruceton and Snowden.
Whether it’s one worn-out recliner or a whole basement, we show up, do the lifting and loading, and leave the space swept.
The township was formed in 1845 as Snowden Township and voted to take the South Park name in 1966, decades after the county built its big park here in the 1930s. The Oliver Miller Homestead, where the first shots of the Whiskey Rebellion were fired in 1794, still stands inside the park.
Library is the township’s downtown, with shops along Route 88 and Piney Fork Road and large plans of houses around them. The ground is hilly and cut by streams like Peters Creek, so we’re used to long driveways and steep yards. Typical jobs here are garage and basement cleanouts, old furniture before a move, and full-house cleanouts when a family home changes hands.
Residential Junk Removal: Garage, basement and attic cleanouts across South Park’s neighborhoods.
Property Cleanouts: Estate, downsizing and move-out cleanouts.
Light Demolition: Sheds, playsets, hot tubs and old decks taken down and removed.
Appliance Removal: Old refrigerators, freezers and laundry machines carried out.
Commercial Junk Removal: Shops and light industrial spaces along Route 88 and Piney Fork Road.
