Junk Removal for Library, PA

Library is an unincorporated community in South Park Township, strung along Brownsville Road on the southern edge of Allegheny County. Many people here give their address as Library even though the township page is where most of the official business happens, so we wanted a page with the name you actually use.

JUNKED. drives up from Canonsburg, about 9 miles away in a straight line. Library is well inside our 15-mile service area, and we can usually offer same-day and next-day service.

Here’s how a job in Library works: call or text (412) 905-9453 or send the request form, ideally with a few photos. We give you a free quote, show up in the window we agreed on, and do all the carrying and loading. We donate and recycle what we can, haul away the rest, and sweep up before we leave. JUNKED. is fully insured and licensed.

From Loafer's Hollow to Library

The community was first known as Loafer’s Hollow. Residents renamed it Library to honor the area’s first library, founded by John Moore in 1833. South of the village, the original course of Brownsville Road continues as Route 88, and Library still holds an annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony. The Library station on the Silver Line light rail is here too.

Homes along and off Brownsville Road range from older farmhouses to post-war ranches and newer subdivisions. That means basement cleanouts, garage cleanouts, old sheds and full-house estate cleanouts are all common jobs.

With South Park close by, we also get a lot of yard calls: brush piles, fallen limbs and old fencing that need to go.

When you call, tell us whether the house sits right on Brownsville Road or up a side street. On the main road we plan where to park so we’re out of the flow of traffic, and on the side streets we check for steep driveways and tight turns before we pull in.
