Washer & Dryer Removal Near Canonsburg, PA

The New Set Is In. Now the Old One Has to Go.

Washers and dryers are some of the heaviest, most awkward things in a house, and around here they usually live in the basement at the bottom of a narrow staircase. When a new set gets delivered, the old pair often gets left behind in the garage or the corner of the laundry room.

JUNKED. disconnects electric units, carries both machines out and hauls them away. One machine or a matched pair, from any floor, in one trip.

Laundry Appliances We Remove

We pick up:

  • Top-load and front-load washers
  • Electric dryers
  • Gas dryers, once the gas is shut off and capped
  • Stacked and all-in-one washer-dryer units
  • Laundry sinks and old utility tubs (call with a photo)
  • Pedestals, shelving and the clutter around the machines

Also clearing out a fridge or stove? See appliance removal.

Getting the Washer and Dryer Ready

A little prep keeps water off your floor:

  • Turn off both water valves behind the washer and disconnect the hoses if you can.
  • Run a short drain cycle or have towels ready. There’s always water left in the drum and lines.
  • Gas dryers must be shut off and capped by a qualified pro or your gas utility before we arrive.
  • Clean the lint trap and take anything out of the drum.
  • Clear a path to the door and let us know about tight turns on the stairs.

After the Machines Leave

Washers and dryers are mostly steel, so they’re good candidates for metal recycling. If a set still works, it may be worth selling or giving away before pickup day, but if it’s broken or not worth the hassle, that’s what we’re here for.

We donate and recycle what we can and haul away the rest.

We handle washer & dryer removal in Canonsburg, Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair and Washington, plus every town in our service area, about 15 miles around Canonsburg.
