Brentwood is a residential borough of about 10,100 people (2020 census), roughly 6 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. It’s a neighborhood of older single-family homes on hilly streets off Brownsville Road, many with detached garages and full basements.
Brentwood is about 13.5 miles from our Canonsburg base and inside our 15-mile service area. JUNKED. does the carrying and loading so you don’t need a truck, a trailer or a weekend.
Here’s how a job in Brentwood works: call or text (412) 905-9453 or send the request form, ideally with a few photos. We give you a free quote, show up in the window we agreed on, and do all the carrying and loading. We donate and recycle what we can, haul away the rest, and sweep up before we leave. JUNKED. is fully insured and licensed.
Brentwood was part of Baldwin Township until residents, frustrated by a lack of sidewalks, sewers and fire protection, broke away in 1915. The borough was formally created in 1916, and building a sidewalk along Brownsville Road was the first official act of its Board of Trade. The park, the pool and the paving of Brownsville Road were all celebrated on Labor Day 1928.
In homes of that age, the usual calls are basement and garage cleanouts, old appliances, and estate cleanouts when a long-time family home changes hands.
Basement Cleanouts: Decades of stored boxes and furniture brought up and out.
Garage Cleanouts: Clear the bays so the car fits again.
Estate Cleanouts: Careful, patient help clearing a loved one’s home.
Appliance Removal: Washers, dryers, stoves and fridges hauled away.
Furniture Removal: Couches, dressers, beds and recliners carried out.
Residential Junk Removal: Single items to whole rooms, from any home in Brentwood.
