Bentleyville is a Washington County borough of about 2,349 people (2020 census), named for pioneer settler Sheshbazzar Bentley Jr. It has had a post office since 1822 and was incorporated in 1864. Interstate 70 runs along its northern side and Route 917 is its Main Street.
It’s about 14 miles from our Canonsburg base in a straight line, inside our 15-mile service area. JUNKED. handles the heavy lifting, loading and hauling.
Here’s how a job in Bentleyville works: call or text (412) 905-9453 or send the request form, ideally with a few photos. We give you a free quote, show up in the window we agreed on, and do all the carrying and loading. We donate and recycle what we can, haul away the rest, and sweep up before we leave. JUNKED. is fully insured and licensed.
The borough covers about 3.7 square miles, with Pigeon Creek running through it, and its schools are part of the Bentworth School District. Its quick access to I-70 makes the drive from Canonsburg an easy one.
Homes here range from older houses near Main Street to newer places on the edges of the borough. We expect garage and basement cleanouts, old furniture and appliances, tire pickups, yard debris and full-house cleanouts when a family home is sold.
If you’ve got old tires stacked in the garage, ask about them when you book. Tires may carry an extra fee.
Bentleyville has been a town since long before cars, and many of its houses near Main Street are older, with deep basements and detached garages. Newer homes on the edges of the borough tend to fill their garages and sheds instead. We see both kinds of jobs and handle each the same way: we carry, load, haul and sweep.
If you’re clearing a family home, we can work around what the family wants to keep and take away the rest.
Garage Cleanouts: Clear the bays so the car fits again.
Basement Cleanouts: Decades of stored boxes and furniture brought up and out.
Tire Disposal: Old tires picked up with the rest (may carry an extra fee).
Appliance Removal: Washers, dryers, stoves and fridges hauled away.
Yard Waste Removal: Brush, branches, leaves and storm debris.
House Cleanouts: Whole homes emptied, room by room.
Bentleyville sits near Somerset Township and Fallowfield Township, with Carroll Township, Eighty Four and Monongahela a short drive north. We serve the whole area within about 15 miles of Canonsburg. See our full service area.
