Westwood is a quiet residential neighborhood in Pittsburgh’s West End. It began as part of the old Township of Chartiers, was briefly its own borough, and joined the city in three pieces between 1872 and 1927. Noblestown Road runs through the middle, and Noble Manor is the main shopping area.
From our base in Canonsburg it’s about 14 miles in a straight line. JUNKED. comes out, carries out whatever you point to, and hauls it away.
Here’s how a job in Westwood works: call or text (412) 905-9453 or send the request form, ideally with a few photos. We give you a free quote, show up in the window we agreed on, and do all the carrying and loading. We donate and recycle what we can, haul away the rest, and sweep up before we leave. JUNKED. is fully insured and licensed.
Westwood’s houses come in a mix of styles from different eras. The John Frew House, which dates in its original form to 1790, is one of the oldest surviving buildings west of the Allegheny Mountains. The neighborhood also has a public primary school, a swimming pool, a playground and ballfields, and it borders Crafton Heights, Elliott, Ridgemont, West End Valley and Oakwood.
Older homes with full basements and detached garages are common here, and they tend to hold a lot. We expect basement cleanouts, garage clear-outs, estate cleanouts and old furniture hauled from upstairs bedrooms.
If you are clearing a family home over several weekends, we can make more than one trip as you finish each room.
