Midway is a small borough of about 900 people (2020 census) in northwestern Washington County. It covers less than half a square mile and is surrounded by Robinson Township on three sides and Smith Township to the south, so it feels like a small town in the middle of open country.
JUNKED. is based in Canonsburg, about 9 miles away in a straight line. Midway is inside our 15-mile service area, and the drive is roughly 25 to 35 minutes.
Here’s how a job in Midway works: call or text (412) 905-9453 or send the request form, ideally with a few photos. We give you a free quote, show up in the window we agreed on, and do all the carrying and loading. We donate and recycle what we can, haul away the rest, and sweep up before we leave. JUNKED. is fully insured and licensed.
Midway got its name from being the midpoint stop on the railroad between Pittsburgh and Steubenville, Ohio. Today it is a quiet residential borough with older homes, front porches and detached garages.
The work here is mostly household jobs: basement and garage cleanouts, furniture and appliance removal, mattress pickups and full-house cleanouts when a home changes hands. For neighbors on larger lots just outside the borough, we also take down sheds and haul brush and scrap metal.
One item or a whole house, the process is the same. You show us what goes, and we do the lifting.
For a smaller borough like Midway, we often combine jobs. If a neighbor down the street also has an old couch or appliance to get rid of, mention it when you book. We can plan both stops on the same trip, and handle each stop on its own. Getting ready is easy: show us what goes and clear a path to the door.
Residential Junk Removal: Single items to whole rooms, from any home in Midway.
Basement Cleanouts: Decades of stored boxes and furniture brought up and out.
Garage Cleanouts: Clear the bays so the car fits again.
Furniture Removal: Couches, dressers, beds and recliners carried out.
Appliance Removal: Washers, dryers, stoves and fridges hauled away.
Estate Cleanouts: Careful, patient help clearing a loved one’s home.
