Old tires have a way of collecting. A set gets swapped for snows, the old ones go in the corner of the garage, and a few years later there’s a stack behind the shed collecting water and leaves. In Pennsylvania you can’t just put tires out with the household trash, so they tend to stay where they are.
JUNKED. picks up tires along with the rest of your junk. We load them from the garage, basement, barn or yard and haul them away, so you don’t have to fit them in your trunk or find a drop-off that’s open on a weekday.
Tires may carry an extra fee because of how they have to be handled. We’ll tell you up front when you call, before any work starts.
We take:
Clearing a whole garage? See garage cleanouts. Tires are one item there, too.
A few things help:
Tires that sit outside collect water, which is a breeding spot for mosquitoes in summer, and they’re hard to get rid of with normal trash pickup. Pennsylvania has specific rules for how scrap tires are handled, which is part of why they cost more to dispose of than ordinary household junk.
We donate and recycle what we can and haul away the rest. Good used tires with tread left can sometimes go to a new home. Worn ones go where they’re allowed to go.
We handle tire disposal in Canonsburg, Cecil Township, Peters Township and Washington, plus every town in our service area, about 15 miles around Canonsburg.

Either. A stack of tires on its own is a normal pickup, and so is a few tires added to a garage cleanout.
Large tractor, farm and commercial tires need a quick check first. Send a photo and we’ll let you know.
Yes. If they’re in an open garage or beside the driveway and you tell us where, you don’t have to be home.
We can’t take oil, fuel or other fluids. Ask us about batteries when you call.
