Steel, aluminum, copper and brass can be recycled over and over, and scrap yards across western Pennsylvania take them. If you have a pile of clean copper or aluminum and the time to haul it yourself, that’s worth knowing.
If you’d rather not deal with it, mixed loads are fine. Metal, wood, plastic and other junk can all go in the same pickup, so you don’t have to sort anything at home.
We handle scrap metal removal in Houston, Meadow Lands, Eighty Four and Canton Township, plus every town in our service area, about 15 miles around Canonsburg.
